Approved Agent for Multiple Title Insurers
Passport Title of Alabama is approved to issue title policies on behalf of multiple, well known, title insurers. Title insurance requirements have a risk-based component, which means that the requirements to issue title coverage can vary from company to company. Having a relationship with several title insurance companies benefits our clients in the following ways:
- Efficiency: We can shop multiple title insurers to provide the coverage you request, for the least amount of documentation. This means less hoops to jump through for you.
- Preference: Some clients have a preference on which title insurer they use.
- Additional Oversight and Transparency: Each insurer conducts their own audits of the real estate transactions we close. We welcome audits from our insurers, as they give much needed transparency and help us improve our processes.
